When we read the accounts of the flood and certain Scriptures in the Bible, it is like reading a first-hand report of the happenings of our present dispensation. Knowing the consequences of the actions of those we read about, calls for caution on how we conduct ourselves in this dispensation as sons/servants of God! When you consider the moves of the enemy, it is noticeable that the enemy has stepped up his urgency to throw the world and its people into unprecedented depths of chaos and darkness. This is not surprising, because the Bible tells us that his time is short, and he knows it too! Sadly, this urgency is not been seen or felt by many in the Body of Christ! So many think there is time to live as they please, and when they see death close they will repent! One does not blame them, but blame those of us who have been tasked to prepare the people for the Return of our LORD Jesus Christ! As a minister put in charge of the souls in your care, how have you been preparing them for the Return of the LORD? Do you even mention or teach about it in your numerous sermons, seminars, conferences, etc? Many ministries are making 10/20/30/40 year-plan for their ministries without giving a thought that the next moment does not belong to them! In all these planning, how have you prepared the people concerning The Soon Coming of the LORD?

The Church today is filled with jamborees and celebrations, yet the people are dying daily spiritually, unaware of the hot wind of hatred and malice blowing toward them from hell! Apostle Paul declared: “We proclaim Him, warning and instructing everyone in all wisdom [that is, with comprehensive insight into the word and purposes of God], so that we may present every person complete in Christ [mature, fully trained, and perfect in Him—the Anointed]” (Colossians 1:28, AMP). Meaning, that we must Preach Him, warn people, and teach them with the undiluted Word of God so that the people will become mature, fully trained, and perfect in the LORD. Question! Is that what we are doing presently?

We have children of God who do not understand the place of the Holy Spirit or His working in their lives. Many see God as an addition to their lives! They celebrate SELF every chance they get! They believe they can put God in a box as long as He fits their narrative and view of how life should be! The ministries that ought to disciple and teach and prepare the people for the works of ministry so they can be presented fully mature in Christ, are encouraging, endorsing, and egging on wickedness! As a result, many lives are in ruins, and many of our altars have become the playground for corruption, hypocrisy, compromise, and all manner of evil! Jesus told us: “The Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise steward [of the estate], whom his master will put in charge over his household, to give his servants their portion of food at the proper time” (Luke 12:42, AMP)? As a Servant of the Most High God, are you faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ, are you sensible? Are you rightly dividing His Word for those put in your charge? What is the result of your teachings from your pulpit? Are your pastors and members still rolling in the mud and mire of the world and its systems? Are you sensitive to the times we are in or do you think you can sweet talk Jesus Christ from coming, or at least delay it? Under our watch, evil prances up and down the aisles of the Living Church of God! Our societies are riddled with corruption and evil, and it looks normal! Many of the corrupt government officials are members of our fold; they leave the services to wreak havoc in the lives of men, without recourse to the fear of God! Ministers turn a blind eye as long as they funnel some of the corruptible obtained proceeds into the Church! No wonder the Bible says: “The shepherds of my people have lost their senses. They no longer seek wisdom from the Lord. Therefore, they fail completely, and their flocks are scattered” (Jeremiah 10:21, NLT).

Are the people not scattered? Many cheer on evil and see nothing wrong with wickedness. They are only after and listen to those who tickle their fancies and tell them what their listening and itchy ears desire to hear! Such believe that the Judgment of God is for only their leaders. Sadly, they will find out too late, that they are deadly wrong!

Beloved, as a minister of the Most High God, it is time to stand up: “Preach the word [as an official messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient, whether welcome or unwelcome]; correct [those who err in doctrine or behavior], warn [those who sin], exhort and encourage [those who are growing toward spiritual maturity], with inexhaustible patience and [faithful] teaching” (2Timothy 4:2, AMP). Beloved, the Soon Return of the LORD Jesus Christ is near! Living for pleasure and to get wealth ends in this world. We all will stand before the King of kings to give an account of how we took care of the people in our charge and how we influenced our societies. After all, to whom much is given, much is expected and to whom more is given, much more is expected. We must remain and stand faithful to the end, even as we discharge our duties as sons of the Most High God: “But as for you, be clear-headed in every situation [stay calm and cool and steady], endure every hardship [without flinching], do the work of an evangelist, fulfill [the duties of] your ministry” (2Timothy 4:5, AMP).

May the LORD keep us in the circle of His love to the end, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen! God bless you! Maranatha, LORD!
