The Lord arranges wilderness experiences to test and try the depths of our faith. Being a child of His does not exempt us from them. These tests are used by Him to remove the dross from our faith while the trials are used to discipline us and make us stronger in Him. They must not be despised but be allowed to expose the conditions of our hearts so we could in submission, allow God’s word to take firm root. Beloved, let this mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus because He learnt obedience by the things He suffered. James 1:12-15 and Hebrews 5:8.
